Spent 2 hours trying to get my future log to look right and still messed it up

I was setting up my 2024 future log and kept redrawing the stupid calendar grid because my ruler kept slipping. After 4 attempts and a whole bottle of whiteout later, it still looks crooked. How do you guys keep your big spreads neat without going totally insane?

You know you can buy pre-printed future log inserts for like three bucks, right? Is the satisfaction of drawing it yourself really worth two hours and a mental breakdown?

You know you can buy pre-printed future log inserts for like three bucks, right?" - yeah, that's totally fair. For me though, the two hours of drawing it out is kind of the point, not a waste. I end up memorizing the layout and thinking through my schedule while I'm doing it, so by the time the pen hits the paper I'm already picturing what goes where. Plus I've messed up and had to start over plenty of times, but those little imperfections make it feel more like mine than some crisp printout. Different strokes though, I know some folks just want the thing done and that's fine too.
