Ran into the lady who taught me spreads at a diner in Ohio
Found my old first journal from 2018 and it's a mess of messy lines and stickers, but I remember this older woman at the library coffee shop showing me how she used just a ruler and a fine pen for her weekly layout. Told her about that last week at a diner in Dayton and she laughed, said she still uses the same $4 pen for everything. Anyone else have that one person who shaped how you structure your whole system?

Is it really that deep though? A ruler and a pen are pretty standard tools, not some secret formula. Tbh I've had way more people show me their "system" only to abandon it two weeks later because they got bored.
