PSA: Stop cramming 5 months on one page spread

I see these monthlies all over social media where people try to fit January through May all on a single two page spread. Looks cool but I tried it back in February and by week 3 I had no room for actual tasks. My April stuff bled into May notes and it was a MESS. Had to start a whole new notebook two months early. Why do people do this? Is it just for the aesthetic or does it actually work for someone out there?
