Pro tip: check your pen before you write the whole month, a $2 leak cost me 3 hours of layouts
My sister grabbed my journal off the coffee table last Saturday and flipped through it without asking. She pointed at the October spread and said, "why does this whole week look like a crime scene?" She was right. My black gel pen had leaked all over the right side of two pages, and I had kept writing right over the blobs because I was in a hurry to finish my habit tracker. I sat there with a hair dryer for 40 minutes trying to dry it, then gave up and taped a grocery list over the mess. Now I scribble on a sticky note with each new pen before it touches a real page. Has this happened to anyone else, and does the tape trick hold up long term or should I just redo the spread?
