My entire weekly spread got soaked at the park yesterday
I was sitting on a bench in Central Park and a huge rainstorm came out of nowhere. My journal got totally wet, and all my ink ran together into a blurry mess. Has anyone found a good waterproof pen that still writes nice and thin?

Plastic covers are a pain and they make your journal feel cheap. A good waterproof pen is a real solution, not a workaround. You can write anywhere without worrying about the weather. I've had the same pen for two years and it writes fine on wet paper. It's worth spending a few extra bucks to protect your actual writing.

Waterproof pens are overrated, just get a plastic cover for your journal.

Remember dropping my journal in a puddle with a plastic cover, the pages still got soaked inside. A cover just traps water against the paper sometimes. My waterproof pen saved the actual words even when the book was a wreck.
