My cousin pointed out my weekly spreads were a total mess
She looked at my journal last month and said, 'You've got three different trackers in three different spots... it's chaos.' I realized she was right, I was just adding new boxes wherever there was space. So I spent an hour redrawing a single master layout page with my mood, water, and sleep logs all together. Now my weeklies are way cleaner and actually useful. Has anyone else had to totally redo a layout after getting a fresh pair of eyes on it?

Honestly? I think you're overcorrecting. That "mess" was your system working. Who says all the trackers need to be in one spot? If you could find them and they worked for you, that's what matters. Now you've locked yourself into a single rigid layout. What happens when you need to add something new next week? You'll just have to redo the whole master page again. Your cousin's neatness might actually make your journal less useful for you.

You know, I used to think that way too. But having one spot for everything actually made me use it more.

But that's the thing, a rigid layout can actually be really freeing. I used to have my water tracker on one page and my mood notes on another, and I just stopped using them because it felt scattered. Now with everything in one spot, I actually check it. If I need to add something new, I just leave a blank box or use a sticky note for the week. It's not about being perfect, it's about making the habit easier.
