My bullet journal got me through a six-month home renovation delay...

We started planning our kitchen reno last fall and hit permit delays that dragged on forever... I set up a tracker in my journal to log each call and email with the city. It felt endless, but having it all written down kept me from losing my mind. Now I'm adding a 'patience pages' section for any future long waits... How do you track stuff that takes ages in your journals?

I track the side projects that spawn from all that waiting time.

Used to see waiting time as just dead space to get through. Then noticed how many ideas popped up in those blank moments, like quick notes on my phone or rough sketches on scrap paper. Started keeping a tiny notebook for those sparks, and it changed how I view delays. Turns out that in-between time can actually grow into something if you catch it.

Seriously? It's a kitchen reno, not a hostage situation... you're logging calls to the city like it's some big investigation.
