Just realized a simple index works way better for me than a full monthly spread

I used to draw out these detailed monthly calendars every month, but after three months of constant mess-ups and erasing, I switched to just a single page with numbered days and key events listed under each, and now my weekly spreads actually get used because I'm not burned out before I start.

Ditched my monthly spread after two months for the same reason. Now I just write the month at the top of a page and jot down appointments and deadlines as they come up. Way less pressure and more room to actually use my weekly layouts.

Exactly. Why spend time making art on a calendar when I'm out living life instead.
