I thought the 'future log' was a waste of space until my car broke down

For months I skipped that big yearly spread, thinking I'd just use monthly pages. Then my transmission went out in April and I had to schedule repairs for June. Having a place to jot 'transmission fix - June 15' three months ahead kept it from clogging my daily stuff. Now I see the point. Do you actually use your future log, or is it just pretty?

Seriously, that's nothing! I once put off a check engine light for like four months because the mechanic was booked solid. Lunakim is right, you gotta write that stuff down the second it happens or it just slips your mind forever.

That two month wait for a transmission fix is wild, @lisak26. My future log is full of dentist appointments and birthdays, nothing that serious. It really does help to have a spot for things way down the road.
