I finally tried a weekly brain dump spread after my therapist suggested it for my anxiety.
I was sure it was just extra busywork, but writing down every nagging thought in a dedicated two-page spread every Sunday has actually stopped me from forgetting small tasks and made my weekly planning feel much lighter, so has anyone else found a specific journaling technique that unexpectedly helped with something besides just scheduling?

Started doing morning pages to clear my head before work.

My friend tried that, got writer's cramp by day three.

A whole two pages just for random thoughts seems like a lot. Is forgetting a small task really that big of a deal? I just use a sticky note for stuff like that. It sounds like making a simple problem into a big project.
