Hot take: I used to think my weekly spread HAD to be perfect

My sister saw my journal and said, 'It's a tool, not art school.' That clicked because I was spending 2 hours every Sunday just drawing lines. Anyone else get stuck making it look good instead of just using it?

I get what your sister means, but for me the drawing lines part is the whole point. It's how I slow down and get ready for the week.
