Dropped my whole weekly spread into a puddle at the coffee shop
I was at Blue Bottle in San Francisco last Saturday. Had my Leuchtturm out on the table working on my habit tracker. Some kid bumped the table and my iced latte went right over the page. Smudged all my ink, ruined three days of tracking. Grabbed a napkin and just redrew the whole layout right there on a fresh page. Has anyone else had a drink disaster ruin their spreads?

Question if it's really that big of a deal to redraw a few boxes on a fresh page... I mean, you said yourself you just redrew it in ten minutes with a napkin. Seems like you handled it fine without the internet needing to weigh in. Whole "ruined three days of tracking" thing feels a bit dramatic when you're literally just copying over some squares and circles from memory. Coffee stains add character anyway, makes it look lived in.

People act like redrawing a chart is the end of the world when they rewrite grocery lists weekly without blinking.

Hundred and forty seven is my record for grocery list rewrites in a single year. That's a lot of coffee stained paper compared to one chart redraw. I've redrawn project boards more times than I can count and never lost sleep over it. People just get weird about the sunk cost of time already spent.
