Digital vs paper tracker, paper wins by a mile for me

I spent 3 months logging my water intake on a phone app, then switched to a simple grid in my bujo. The app had reminders and charts, but I kept ignoring it because it felt like a chore. With the paper tracker, I actually fill it in after each glass because it's right there in my daily spread. It took me 2 weeks to realize the difference was just visibility, so now I do all my habit tracking on paper. Anyone else find that analog beats digital for simple stuff like this?

Wait, you mean you went THREE whole months ignoring an app that was literally sending you reminders? That is some next level phone blindness right there.
