Digital vs analog bullet journal - stuck in the middle after 6 months

I started with a standard Leuchtturm notebook in July but switched to a Samsung tablet setup by September because I loved the search function and unlimited pages. Now my hands hurt from typing notes all day and I kinda miss the feel of pen on paper when I'm checking off tasks. Has anyone here gone back and forth between both methods and found a way to make one work long term?

Split the difference - paper for dailies, tablet for everything else.

Paper bleeds through the pages of my book bag way too much for me to use it daily.
