DAE keep their old bujo from 2016 and laugh at how wrong they were?
I used to think tracking every little thing in my bullet journal was a waste of time, but after finding my 2016 bujo in a box from my move to Portland, I saw how much the habit actually helped. Back then I only wrote down big tasks, but now I log my water intake, mood, and even the weather, and it's crazy how much more aware I am of my own patterns. My friend Jess said she tried it for a month and gave up, but I wonder if she just didn't find the right setup. Has anyone else stuck with a bujo for over five years and seen it change how they plan their days?
Man, the part about tracking mood and weather really got me. I started my bujo in 2017 after a bad breakup and only wrote down chores for the first year. Pulled it out last month and saw I was basically a robot back then, just listing tasks with zero clue how I actually felt. Now I log sleep and caffeine too, and it's wild how obvious the pattern is when I look back at rough weeks. Jess might come around if she tries a simpler setup, mine was way too much at first and I almost quit too.
