Turning a $5 bag of lentils into 8 meals saved my grocery budget
I grabbed a 2-pound bag of lentils for $5 at Walmart last month and cooked up a batch with some old carrots and onions. Got 8 servings out of it that I froze for lunches. Anyone else find a cheap base ingredient that stretches way further than you'd think?

Haha I feel this so hard. I bought a giant bag of oats for like $4 and I swear I'm still working through it. Made oatmeal for breakfast every day for two weeks, then started using it in smoothies and even made those no-bake cookies. Ended up with over 20 servings from one bag and my stomach is still recovering from all that fiber though. But hey, my wallet is happy even if my digestive system is staging a protest. Definitely beats spending $8 on a box of granola that lasts three days.

The fiber overload is real... those oats sneak up on you after day three.
