Rant: My sister swears her $8 frozen pizza is a 'budget meal'
She buys the single-serving fancy ones from the freezer aisle, which works out to over $30 a week just for her lunches. I showed her my homemade pizza dough recipe that costs about 75 cents and feeds four people, but she says it's 'too much work'. How do you even argue with that logic?

Honestly though, after a long shift I just want to grab something and not clean up. @the_andrew's ten minutes plus the mess is still more effort than opening a box.

Look, I get it. I'm the person who buys pre-cut fruit because washing a knife feels like a huge task sometimes. The mental energy of making dough after work is real, even if it's cheap. Maybe it's just me, but my brain sees a recipe and shuts down. The frozen pizza is the easy button, and sometimes that's worth the extra cost, even if it makes no sense on paper.
