Nailed a week of dinners with just beans and rice

Money was super tight after my car needed a repair, so I had to get creative. Grabbed a big bag of dried beans and some rice, total cost was like $4. Cooked the beans with onion, garlic, and a leftover chili powder packet from work. Mixed it with the rice and added whatever veggies were on sale. Ate it plain, in wraps, and even fried it up with an egg. Felt pretty slick making so much food for so little cash. Honestly, it was kinda fun to see how far I could stretch it. Saved me from eating ramen every night, which is a win in my book.

But is it really that big of a deal?

Honestly, that's some next level survival mode cooking right there. You basically turned beans and rice into a whole food pyramid hack. Ngl, I'm kinda impressed but also worried you might start a revolution against the grocery store. Bet your bank account loved it more than any fancy meal.

Yeah, the grocery store markups are wild for basic stuff.
