Frozen veggies vs fresh for meal prep, my wallet made the call

I had to pick between buying $25 of fresh broccoli and peppers or $8 of the frozen mix for my weekly lunches. I went frozen after 3 straight weeks of tossing slimy fresh stuff in the trash. Turns out the frozen ones hold up better in my container too, no more soggy mess by Thursday. Anyone else ditch fresh produce to stretch their grocery budget further?

Oh man, my neighbor Sarah went through the exact same thing last year. She finally gave up on fresh spinach after it turned into green soup in her fridge three times in a row. Now she buys the big frozen bag and says it lasts her almost a month, which is way better than tossing five bucks down the drain every week.
