Shoutout to the guy who told me to try a rubber mallet instead of a metal one

I spent 6 months cracking bricks on a patio job in Omaha before I finally caved and used a rubber mallet, and the difference in clean breaks and less waste made me feel like a fool for not listening sooner - has anyone else had a tool swap that obvious turn out way better?

Yeah, I was a metal hammer guy for years. Totally changes the game.

Oh totally, I get that! It's HARD to switch after years of using one tool but sometimes you just gotta admit when something works better.

Used to swear by my framing hammer for everything, but after borrowing a rubber mallet for some stone work I had to admit it was a better tool for the job.
