Rented a mortar mixer that cost me $80 and a whole day

Spent $80 on a rental mixer that kept clogging every 20 minutes because I didn't check the paddle alignment before I left the yard. Anybody else had a rental tool that just screwed up your whole schedule?

Paddle alignment wasn't the problem, you probably forgot to add water first.

Yeah, "add water first" is spot on, I did that same exact thing with a concrete mixer last summer and it was a nightmare.
