My trowel handle snapped mid-wall last Thursday

I was about 30 bricks into a garden wall job in Austin when the handle on my Marshalltown cracked right in half. Had to finish the afternoon using an old backup trowel that was way too heavy for me. Anybody had a good handle replacement fix that actually holds up?

Man, that's rough. At least you didn't have to finish the job with a butter knife, right?

Nah I gotta push back a little on that one. Even with a real knife, having it snap on you like that is still a nightmare and leaves you totally stuck. The butter knife thing is funny but honestly the stress of the situation is bad enough without comparing tool failures like it's a contest.
