Laid my 10,000th brick on Friday without even noticing

I was just zoning out on this house foundation near downtown and realized I'd hit that milestone (crazy, right? I counted back through my job logs). Has anyone else lost track of a big number like that and had it sneak up on you?

Wait, you've been keeping job logs this whole time? That's wild, I've never even thought to do that for my work. Honestly, I think I'd have a heart attack if I realized I'd done something that many times without paying attention to it.

Oh man, I feel this so hard. You gotta keep track somehow or it'll mess with your rhythm. I started logging my own stuff after I lost count halfway through a big retaining wall job and ended up redoing a whole section because I thought I was behind. Best thing I did was just jot down numbers on a scrap piece of paper at the end of each day, nothing fancy. That way when you hit something like 10k you don't have to guess, you just know. Feels good to see that number stack up without it sneaking up on you.
