Just realized I burned $300 on that 'quick-dry' mortar additive...

The rep swore it would cut cure time in half for a winter patio job, but it just made the mix weak and crumbly. Anyone else get burned by a fancy additive that promised the moon?

Ugh, that's rough. I read somewhere that some of those sealers can trap moisture and make things worse if they're not applied exactly right.
