Dropped $280 on a wet saw that couldn't cut a single brick straight

Bought a cheap 7 inch wet saw from a guy on Marketplace in Fresno and the blade wandered so bad my first course was off by a quarter inch over 12 bricks. Should've just rented the real one from the yard for 60 bucks a day. Anyone got a budget saw that actually holds a line, or am I stuck renting forever?
