Vent: Spent $80 on a Yeti cooler and still had lukewarm drinks by noon
Took that fancy Yeti Tundra 20 out on a fishing trip at Lake Michigan last Saturday. Ice was gone by early afternoon even though I pre-chilled it and used block ice like they say. These things are supposed to be bear-proof tough but they can't keep a soda cold for 6 hours? Who else has had one of these expensive coolers crap out on them when you need it most?

Take what oscar_ellis said and run with it - Yeti is coasting on their old reputation while cheaper coolers are catching up fast. I switched to a RTIC last summer after my buddy showed me his stayed cold for two full days on a camping trip, and I've never looked back. The price difference is wild when you realize a basic Coleman works just as good for casual use like yours.
