Vent: got tired of being the Ford guy in every truck argument, so I started asking one question back
I have driven Fords since high school and I will admit I got lazy about why. Every time somebody at the parts counter in Tulsa asked me what I drive, I just said Ford and moved on, and I never had a real answer. A guy I buy parts from told me straight up that I sounded like a walking ad instead of a guy who knows his truck, and he was right. So for the last 6 months I have been asking people one thing back: what broke on yours first? The answers are all over the place, and now I actually know what I like about my truck instead of just saying the name. I am still a Ford guy but now I can tell you why, and that little question works better than any argument I ever got into. What is the first thing that broke on whatever you drive?
