TIL spending $80 on a cheap drill bit set cost me way more in the long run

I bought a no-name 29-piece drill bit set off Amazon for $80 last summer, figured I was saving money over DeWalt or Milwaukee. By the third project, three bits snapped, one went dull instantly, and I ended up buying replacement bits anyway. Has anyone else learned the hard way that cheap tools just burn your wallet twice?
