The one thing people get wrong about cordless vacuum battery care
I keep seeing folks toss their cordless vacuums on the charger 24/7 thinking it's fine, but my Dyson V11's battery died after 14 months because of that. Samsung's official site says lithium ions degrade when you leave them at 100% for days, especially in warm closets. I switched to charging it to 80% and storing it in the basement at 65 degrees, and the replacement pack has held strong for 18 months now. Has anyone else noticed a big difference after changing their charging habits?

Didn't your friend's Dyson battery puff up after he kept charging it in a hot garage for months?

Yeah that's exactly what happened. Leaving a lithium ion battery hooked up to the charger in a hot space like a garage will 100% cook it and make it swell up. Best bet is to only charge your Dyson in a cool dry spot and unplug it once it hits full charge.
