Switched from store-brand trash bags to Hefty after my kitchen garbage ripped open for the third time in a month
Honestly, I used to buy the generic giant rolls from the supermarket because they were $8 for like 80 bags. Thought I was saving money. But last month my trash literally exploded across the floor twice in one week. Cereal, coffee grounds, eggshells everywhere. My wife was fed up. She bought a box of Hefty Ultra Strong at Costco for $12 and it's been 5 weeks without a single tear. Plus the drawstring actually stays tied. Has anyone else switched and noticed a real difference in trash bags holding up?

Yeah, I did the same thing, and @olivia_allen the mess is the worst part, not worth saving a few bucks.

Oh tell me about it. I bought a pack of those dollar store ones once and I was finding crumbs in my purse for weeks after. Finally just tossed the whole bag and went back to the name brand ones.
