Spent 4 years using the wrong coolant in my Jeep

I was at a shop in Denver last month getting my radiator replaced, and the mechanic asked what coolant I used. I told him I just grabbed the green stuff at AutoZone. He laughed and said my Jeep took OAT coolant, not the old stuff. I been using the wrong one since I bought it in 2020. Has anyone else gone that long without realizing they were using the wrong fluid?

Rolled into the shop running on hopes and dreams instead of proper coolant huh. At least you can join the club of people who kept their Jeeps alive through sheer stubbornness and bad decisions.

Wait, it was literally running on actual coolant before?

Hold up I think it was actually just low on regular antifreeze and water mix, not running on nothing. The owner probably just topped it off with straight water a few times and hoped for the best. Still not great but at least coolant was technically in there most of the time.
