My friend in Denver had a full-on meltdown when I used a generic cola at his cookout last week
He actually yelled 'That's not the real thing!' and made me pour it out before he'd let me add it to the punch bowl, which makes me wonder, has anyone else seen brand loyalty get this intense over something so small?

Honestly, saw the same thing at a family thing. Parkerp80's uncle and this guy would get along. People get weird about brands.

My uncle in Texas once threw a fit because someone brought store-brand tortilla chips to a party. Like, is the dip really that different?
