I finally switched to Kirkland paper towels after a plumber in my building told me to try them on a nasty kitchen spill last Tuesday
He said he uses them at home because they don't fall apart when soaking up grease, so I grabbed a pack at Costco and now I can't go back to Bounty; has anyone else made the switch and stuck with it?

Yeah but have you actually put them to the real test yet? I'm talking about like a full on bacon grease situation where you're sopping up a puddle of oil that's been sitting on the stove for hours. I tried Kirkland once and they held up pretty good but I feel like Bounty still has that edge when it really comes down to it. What kind of messes are you usually dealing with at your place?

Bacon grease solidifies. Sopping up oil is a different story.
