I ditched Apple for a $300 Android and I'm not going back
My iPhone X finally died last month. Got a Moto G Power for $300. Battery lasts 3 days. Can't believe I spent $1,000 on phones for 10 years. Anyone else feel like Apple is just a status symbol now?

Asked my buddy Mike why he still uses his iPhone 12 when it's cracked and slow, he just shrugged and said 'it's fine.' Guess he's paying for the logo at this point.

Did you ever convince him to upgrade, or is he still rocking that thing? I had the same issue with a buddy and eventually just bought him a used iPhone 13 for his birthday, best $300 I ever spent. Sometimes people just get stuck in a rut and need a little push to see how much better the newer stuff actually is.
