Honestly, my loyalty to a certain phone brand died in a Chicago airport last November
I was trying to get a flight update on my phone and the battery went from 40% to dead in maybe 15 minutes. It was a model I'd had for 2 years and I'd already replaced the battery once. I had to borrow a stranger's charger and just sat there feeling stupid for defending that brand for so long. I switched to a different one the next week and the battery actually lasts a full day now. Has anyone else had a single moment that just broke your brand loyalty for good?

But that's just one bad battery.

Oh man, @kim_west, I get that, but I just read an article about how a single bad battery can start a serious fire. It talked about how the heat from one failing cell can spread to the others super fast. That one bad unit can ruin the whole pack.

Yikes, tell that to my old laptop battery. That one bad cell turned the whole thing into a paperweight and a mild fire hazard.
