Serious question, did anyone else notice the subway episode of that zombie show makes way more sense if you mute the dialogue?
I ride the L train in Chicago 50 minutes each way for my job, so I have burned through a lot of shows on my phone. Last week I watched the subway episode of that zombie show with my earbuds dead and just read the captions, and the whole thing hit different. The sound mix drowns out half the talking anyway, so muting it made the tunnel scenes way more tense and I caught little visual details I missed the first two times. Now I am wondering how many other episodes I ruined by cranking the volume. Has anyone else tried watching something muted on a commute and liked it better?
