That one spring week my garden actually did what I wanted
Had a week last May where everything bloomed on schedule. Even my fussy lilacs opened up right before a big rain. Has anyone else had a week where their plants just... cooperated?

Wait, wait... delphiniums did that? All of them just shot up at once like they were on the same schedule? I've never seen that happen with mine, they're always so dramatic and floppy. Was it the same variety or a mix? I swear those plants have a personal vendetta against me every year.

God, I love that name. It's "the garden's perfect window" not "window." Off by a word.

Oh man, that's the dream right there... I heard this gardening podcast a while back where a guy called it "the garden's perfect window" or something like that. He said it's basically when everything lines up with soil temp and that first real warm spell. My neighbor's delphiniums did that last June, they all snapped straight up like they had a meeting about it. Makes you think maybe we all just need one good week to feel like we know what we're doing out there.
