Pro tip: my monstera's fenestrations showed up 3 years after I moved it to a north window, is light really the trigger? | Botany Lovers - Opinions Matter
My grandma had this pothos for like 12 years in the same dang spot by her kitchen sink and it never grew a single leaf bigger than a coaster. Then she moved to a new apartment with a big west window and within 6 months the thing was throwing out leaves the size of her hand. Same plant, same pot, same soil, same watering schedule. She swore it was the water in the new place but I always figured the light was doing the heavy lifting. Plants are weird like that, they just sit there doing nothing forever and then one day they decide to show off.
