My spider plant went from 2 sad leaves to 30 in 6 months after I moved it to a south window
That direct morning light made all the difference even though every care guide says bright indirect only, has anyone else found their plants actually love a few hours of direct sun?

Huh, 30 leaves from 2 in 6 months? That seems like a lot.

Totally had the SAME thing happen with my snake plant - everyone said low light but it EXPLODED when I put it in a south window with some direct morning rays. @blake322, I get the skepticism but some plants just seem to thrive on that extra brightness even if the guides say otherwise. My once-sad plant had like 5 leaves and now it's pushing out babies every month.
