My sister told me to stop watering my fiddle leaf fig so much, and she was totally right lol

My fiddle leaf fig in Phoenix needs a full soak twice a week or the leaves go crispy. Dry air here sucks the moisture right out. I tried the less water thing once and it dropped three leaves in a week. Some plants are just thirsty, and blanket advice never works.

fr tho my snake plant gets that desert treatment too, i gotta water it way more than people say. it's weird how different conditions just change everything. those generic "water once a month" rules are worthless if your house is basically a desert.

Ugh, that sounds so frustrating. I feel you on the blanket advice thing, it's never that simple. My place gets super dry in winter and I have to water way more often too. It's all about watching your own plant and your own space, not some random rule.
