Just realized everyone at the plant swap was wrong about my jade plant
Last Thursday at the local library swap, three people told me my jade needed way more sun and less water. I mean, it's been in a north facing window in my Chicago apartment for two years and it's doubled in size. I water it maybe once every three weeks. They kept pushing these strict rules, but my plant is clearly fine with my routine. It made the whole event feel kind of unwelcoming, like there's only one right way to do things. Has anyone else had a plant that thrives by breaking the so called rules?
