I finally got my avocado pit to sprout, and it caused a hilarious mix-up at work!
After months of trying, my avocado seed finally started growing! I brought it to show my coworkers, and they thought it was a weird potato. Now we all have a good laugh about it every day!

Love that it sprouted after all that time. My own attempt just got moldy and sad. The potato mix-up is honestly the best part, a solid office story. Hope that stubborn little plant grows real tall for you.

My cousin works at a plant nursery and she told me some seeds need a cold period to wake up. Honestly, it's like they're sleeping until conditions are just right. Your potato mix-up is a perfect example of a happy accident. Tbh, mold usually means too much water or not enough air flow. It's all part of the fun.

Bringing random plants into a professional office is actually pretty distracting. A manager might see it as you wasting company time on a hobby. That "funny" mix-up could just look like you aren't focused on your actual job duties.
