Tried PVA glue on a leather journal cover last Tuesday and it peeled right off
The spine came apart clean after 2 days, so I switched to wheat paste and it held tight. Anyone got a glue combo that works on both leather and paper board?

Two days though? That seems like a long time to wait just to find out a glue didn't work. In my experience if something is gonna stick it usually shows you pretty quick, like within a few hours. Wheat paste holding on a spine is fine but that stuff can get brittle over time and crack when the book flexes. Not saying your test was wrong, just that a two week test tells you a lot more than two days. Your mileage may vary but I'd keep an eye on it before you trust it on anything you care about.
