Thought leather was overkill for a $10 paperback, then I rebound one for my mom
My mom's favorite paperback from 1987 was falling apart so I tried a leather spine and corners just to practice, and the thing feels like a family bible now at 9 by 6 inches. She's had it on her nightstand in Tucson for 3 months and the hinge hasn't budged, so I'm wondering what cheap books you all have upgraded past what they deserved.
