Last Tuesday I rebound a 1890s family Bible in one day, then Wednesday I glued a signature in upside down
Do you judge a binder by their worst day or their best day, because I honestly can't decide if I'm good at this or just lucky sometimes?

Gluing a signature in upside down isn't actually a binding mistake, it's a page order slip, so it says nothing about your hands. Your worst day is really just the one where you mix up which part goes where, not whether you can do the work.
