Bought a $400 guillotine cutter and it's the only reason my cat still has a tail.
The thing is so sharp and precise that when he jumped on the table mid-cut, the blade dropped and cleanly sliced through a stack of paper exactly where his tail had been a second before, so I guess the investment paid off, but does anyone else have workshop safety tips for overly curious pets?

Modern safety gear is often designed for human error, not for a cat's unpredictable curiosity.

Yeah, the "unpredictable curiosity" part hits home. My cat once got his head stuck in a tissue box because he had to know what was inside. Safety gear for that would be a helmet made of bubble wrap. I spent twenty minutes trying to get it off while he ran into every wall in the house. The designers never planned for a creature that sees a box and has to wear it as a hat.

So what would cat safety gear even look like?
