Unpopular opinion: I chose a paper reading list over ebooks for book club debates
Last year our club had a big fight about digital vs physical books. I picked paper because I wanted to mark up pages with notes for debates. Found a used copy of "The House in the Cerulean Sea" for $4 at a library sale. Worked great until I spilled coffee on my notes for chapter 6. Anyone else stick with paper and regret it during a heated discussion?

My buddy Sarah tried the same thing with her reading list for "Project Hail Mary" and ended up dropping her folder in a puddle right before a big debate. She spent the whole meetup trying to remember what she wrote about the alien eggs.

Huh, that "dropped her folder in a puddle" part really got me. I used to think having everything on paper was the only safe way, but now I'm not so sure. Maybe digital backup isn't such a bad idea after all.

Yeah, that happened to me once too - man, it stinks.
