The librarian who told me to ditch my bookmarks was dead wrong
Back in March, the head librarian at my local branch said I should stop using sticky notes and tabs in library books. She claimed it damages the pages and other readers hate it. I argued that marking passages makes discussions better, and she finally admitted it's not a huge deal if I'm careful. Has anyone else run into a librarian who tried to ban your highlighting system?

Is this really worth getting into it with a librarian over? Sticky notes in library books aren't saving the world or anything.

Sticky notes just mean someone cared enough to leave a thought behind.
