Rant: My book club's talks have turned too nice to be fun.
We used to have real fights over book meanings, but now everyone just agrees. It feels like we're missing the point of a book club.

If your club's become "too nice," try playing devil's advocate like I did to bring back the fun arguments.

How about making that a rule? Someone has to argue against the group each time, just rotate who does it.
