Our book club debate shifted my thinking on that classic novel.

Heard a podcast once where they tore apart an unreliable narrator in a famous book. Never even considered that angle before. Made me realize group talks force you to see the hidden corners of a story. You get stuck in your own head otherwise. I definitely dug my old copy off the shelf after hearing that. Suddenly whole sections made a different kind of sense.

Guess I'm the perfect audience for an unreliable narrator, I'd believe anything. @knight.val would have a field day with my hot takes.

Getting different takes in a group totally changed that book for me too. Someone pointed out a character's weak spot I never even saw, and it clicked. It’s wild how a good argument can make you connect with a story in a new way. I went back and reread some chapters right after our meetup.
